Great News!

We have received lovely reviews in the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2010 and the Harden's Guide 2010.

Pip and Pete together with their Front of House team and Adam and his kitchen brigade are thrilled with these and justifiably so.   The restaurant business is all about giving pleasure and when you get it right ... well then it's an incredibly satisfying business to be in for everyone - customers, chefs and front of house alike.

The garden at Gilbey's is now fully open, looking gorgeous and ready to welcome you for a delicious 'al fresco' lunch, traditional English tea in the garden or, as the evenings become warmer, dinner by candlelight under the stars.

The Dining Room has recently had a fabulous 'make-over'.   Now, looking brighter and very much more stylish, this is the perfect room for private parties of up to 12.   Pip, Pete and 'team Gilbey's' love looking after guests on these special occasions.   Do please ring them on 01494 727242 if you would like to chat to them about your party.   They will be delighted to help in any way they can.

Adam and his brigade in the kitchen are excited about all the fresh new season's produce becoming so readily available to them now.   The markets are bursting with summer flavours and these are reflected in the frequently changing Gilbey's menus.   Adam tells us that since recently moving house he has even started his own veggie garden.    Watch this space!
