With Christmas just around the corner, we are thrilled to announce the long-awaited renovation of Gilbey's Bar & Restaurant, Eton, and the exciting new addition of a sumptuous suite for overnight guests.
The suite will comprise a bedroom, bathroom, sitting and kitchen area, giving you the chance to enjoy Eton and Gilbey's from the luxury of your own private apartment. This full 'makeover' will, amongst many other things, include rebuilding the conservatory and enlarging the garden.
Unfortunately all these exciting developments mean that we will be closed from 21st December until the beginning of February 2010, but the brand new Gilbey's will be worth the wait. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the closure, but we will still be open for your pre-Christmas celebrations, serving our splendid Christmas menus, and
look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year.
Meanwhile, it's business as usual at our Amersham restaurant, where the festive menus are going down a storm. Our ever-popular New Year's Eve bash is all but sold out, where we will be seeing in the New Year with a glass of our very own Pheasant's Ridge Brut, but do call us now to book your December lunch or dinner. Amersham will close for a breather from 23rd to 30th December, but will be raring to go for the start of 2010!
