As Autumn is upon us, we wanted to let you know about our new all day opening hours at both our Amersham and Eton restaurants. The afternoon menu is ideal for a late lunch, pre-theatre light meal or a shared platter to nibble with a glass of wine. For the more traditional, a scrumptious afternoon tea with lashings of clotted cream is just the thing, all of which is served until 5.45pm.

On the subject of all things wine-related, this year's grape harvest at Pheasant's Ridge on 10th October looks to be a corker. Stephen Skelton MW, our vineyard consultant, thinks it might be the best year for English wines in all the 35 years he's been in business – definitely something to look forward to.
